What is Proofreading

Proofreading is for after your book has been professionally copy-edited. Proofreading provides a final tidy-up of your manuscript. It looks for any problems that may have been missed by any previous editing and formatting. 

 

What is Included

​

I will proofread your entire manuscript line by line and fix any remaining errors that could distract your reader. The focus will include but not be limited to:

• Consistency of text and/or image elements

• Capitalisation

• Dialogue punctuation

• Correct word usage 

• Spelling, grammar, and punctuation

All changes and decisions can be discussed and it is your choice if you wish to keep the changes made. Your decision does not change the fee payable. Recommended changes will be shown using Track Changes.
